URBAN & LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION
There is a trend in urban and skyrise greening in city areas, driven by the increase in awareness of the advantages of urban greenery and regulatory guidelines.
In cities where real estate is an expensive commodity, green areas are often strategically located to minimize intrusion into useful floor space. As such, planters are often located on building facades, balconies and roof areas.

Such planters, usually consisting of a variety of shrubs species, require extensive upkeeping and maintenance. However, traditional forms of watering the plants through tap points and garden hoses are inefficient, labour intensive, and in many cases, dangerous due to the inaccessibility of some of these greeneries.

As such, a smart, robust and automatic irrigation system is essential to ensure the extensive greenery in city buildings receive the water required daily in an efficient manner. A full system of water storage, pump and distribution pipe networks ensure that water is delivered daily to the roots of the plants through drip irrigation effectively. Moisture sensors in the air or soil can also detect when moisture levels are high enough to stop irrigation.
